“There is an Amazing Hospital in the Middle of the UAE Desert”

Check out a great article at What’s On Dubai about the Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital in the UAE, a project where Nadia Tobia served as Project Director and Design Leader during her time as Principal with Perkins Eastman / Perkins Eastman Black.

Opened in 2014 with 248 beds and 10 operating theatres, the 65,000 sqm facility provides easier access to specialist treatment for the populations of the five northern emirates in the UAE (Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah).
