Tobia Architects was retained to provide architectural and interior design peer review services for two new nursing residences, including the engagement of a team of consultants from Toronto to provide structural, building envelop, MEP, code and life safety reviews. The project is located within the campus of the Riyadh KFSH + RC and includes two residential buildings for female nurses. Building “I” is 31,858 sqm. spread over 10 stories, and Building “J” includes 95,292 sqm. spread over 20 stories. In addition to the residential units the project also includes a theater, a spa, exercise rooms, laundry facilities, a mini market and swimming pools. The peer-review team from Toronto included Crossey Engineering as MEP consultant, Entuitive as structure and building envelop consultant, and Sereca as code and life safety consultant.
