Al Bawani Co. engaged Tobia Architects Inc. to develop the design and medical planning services for two projects. The KACCLD Annex Imaging Department at the King Abdullah Centre for Cancer and Liver Diseases consisted of two PET CT scan suites and two MRI suites and their associated clinical and service support areas in addition to HLA and Satellite Laboratory, specialized clinics , dialysis unit and rehabilitation. The second project was the addition of an MRI suite to the Emergency Medical Services Building.
The team worked with the users and clinical staff at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh to develop the design based on their requirements. Parallel to the user consultations, we worked with the engineering team at Al Bawani offices to complete the work for the project’s design stages.
